I am working on completing the calendar for 2010 and this is the page for April. I started off with very "eastery" colors but when I distressed my photo I got some weird colors! I inked and sewed the BG CS with a decorative stitch. I added a blue polka dot pp that was also inked. On top of that I added a pp that looks a little bit like a speckled egg! I inked it and then added a few decorative stitches, a couple felt hearts and buttons. The photo is matted on a darker CS, and the photo has a little strip of ric rac. The final touch was a little felt bird and a prima flower...and of course the title sticker....April! Hope you like it!
