Your journaling is fun! This is pretty and in my rural neck of the woods, sometimes it's fun to see what the wild flowers/ weeds turn into. These are pretty at least!
Welcome to Janice's school of gardening. One of my ideas on gardening is let things grow and see what happens, (I have had good and bad results with this idea.) Another of my ideas is that if a plant is pretty and you enjoy it, you call it a wildflower not a weed and refer to idea one, let it grow. This plant however has earned the title weed, do not be fooled by the way it tries to mimic a phlox don not let the pretty pastel flowers lure you into allowing it space, It is a perfect example of give it an inch and it will take a mile. spreads like a wildfire, so even though it is pretty this little plant has earned itself the label weed, not evil weed or noxious weed, there are no stickers or thorns, no itching from touching, and it does pull up realatively easy, but still a weed. This concludes class for today, and relax, there will be no quiz.
