My favorite band since they released their debut album has been and still is the Counting Crows!

Journaling says:
In late 1993 the Counting crows released their debut album, “August and Everything After.” At first I didn’t really like it, but the first single “Mr. Jones” began to grow on me. I remember I did like the music video. Pat actually bought the album first and when I heard it the entire way through I fell in love with it. It was amazing! It was an album I could listen to over and over and never get tired of it. “Mr. Jones” quickly became my favorite song. In 1996 they released their next album, “Recovering the Satellites.” In the summer of 1997 they were going to be playing at Pine Knob. I convinced Chris to get me a ticket and take me. The Counting Crows were playing with the Wallflowers. The show was fabulous! During the Wallflowers’ set Adam Duritz came out to sing “6th Avenue Heartache.” During the Counting Crows set Adam played a ten minute long version of “Round Here” that was incredible! I loved eveything about the show. Seeing the Counting Crows in concert made me love them even more. That was the first show of many.
