Photos of Cassie with her presents from us on her 12th birthday. We also had just picked up her new glasses that day -- I LOVE them on her.

This is for a few challenges:
1. ABC Round 9 - QRS.
Q - Quilling. I quilled all the flowers and the butterfly. My first time! It was fun, but time consuming:)
R - Red. Besides Cassie's shirt, the pp has red in it, and four of the quilled flowers and the butterfly trail are red.
S - Stamp. The flourishes, the '12,' and the 'it's your special day' are stamped.

2. Scrap the Birthdays - Week 3.
We had to have embossing either wet or dry on our LO. I have both: 'it's your special day' is heat embossed, and the black border punched strip has dry embossing in the design. I also did the twist which was to include 6 flowers -- I have 6 quilled flowers.

3. Beautiful Flowers.
I have the 6 quilled flowers, and I did the twist to include a photo corner -- there is a pink one on the top right photo.

The journaling says: You are blooming into such a lovely young lady. Happy Birthday, baby! April 16, 2009

I originally heat embossed the '12' too, but it didn't really stand out, so I covered it in glossy accents (and then stuck my thumb in it, LOL).
