A church friend of mine asked me to make a First Communion card for her nephew (and my first card of its kind as well). I don't actually have any stamps related to it but she chose this Bible verse to be used on the card. And since I don't have any images to go with it, I looked up in the web and saw this lovely image which I think very fitting for the Bible verse. I printed it from the computer (chose washed out for the photo appearance, to make it look subtle# onto a white cs, used heat-gun to let the printer ink dry so that it won't smudge when I do some sponging around. The Bible verse was stamped (and heat-embossed with clear ep) on a different white cs, cut with Labels Small then sponged around it with Versacolor Baby Blue, SU! Soft Sky, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue and a little bit of So Saffron in the middle.
This is a boy card so definitely no flower embellies LOL! I just cut a piece of Ballet Blue cs to make a vertical panel then embossed it Swiss Dots embossing folder and embellished it with an organdy ribbon (colour is a lighter version of So Saffron). Finished it off with some Bliss pearls (light blue) on top of the ribbon.
I hope this looks okay. What do you think?
