Dana, just wanted to say that i absolutely LOVE this lo! i'm a big fan of distressing...and love the look you have achieved with it! great job! (oh...i also have a daughter named Kennedy!)
Your title is awesome. I wanna scraplift this. Kennedy is soo adorable. i love her little dress. Everything is fantastic! I cant say enough about your pages.
Wow Dana!!! You are absolutely incredible! This is by far my fav ever and I am definitely scraplifting!!!!!! I wish I could come to your class!!!! I have a Sepia of Colleen from Jc Penny when she was one and they even used it on display at our Jc Penny! I will definitely have to use it and try this!!!! I LOVE the colorblocking, the stitching, esp the way you did the sweet girl on the ONE monogram!!!!!!!!
Burning?!?!? I'd be too afraid... but I guess you experimented a few times with a big bowl of water nearby first????? Will the smoke detector go off in the scrapbook classroom????
I guess if I have to try REALLY hard and give a suggestion.....all I can think of is the primas need something to distress them.. I've rolled the edges of mine around my paper piercer the opposite way to give them a little distress. I've tried to ink, but they don't always come out right and my brad gets inked more than anything.... but I'm sure you can come up with something.... but I'm trying REAL hard to come up with a suggestion for your class. This is truly amazing in every way!!!!!!
I love the burning- pretty brave, but what great results. You will have to show me that when I come to Chan's. I also really like the "Patchwork" quilt style at the top. The whole thing is awesome. I would take the class for sure!
Wow.. loads of comments on this baby..love the color scheme, the distressing the blocking.. the photo tinting.. the stitching, the primas.. the coordination, the balance.. this is awesome!
Dana--this is unbelievable! I am so coming to your class if you can teach me this! Everything about it is perfect! I wanna learn that stitching as well!
Wow Dana!! This is Fantastic!!! i love all the stitching, and the burned edges on teh photo, and the title. Everything about it is amazing! Into my favs. The class is going to LOVE it.
OH MY GOD, This soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! I love what you did with the picture, it's great that she's holding a pink rose now. The stitching is way too cool!!!love the ribbon and the way you did the title is perfect....But burning the edges of a picture? Well I won't dare...But it turns out to be great!!! Why don't you come teach us in Holland? Into favs it goes ****Paulien
This is so very gorgeous, love what you have done with the photo, looks very vintage as does the lo, love the play on words in your title, your class is going to absolutely love it, well done!! :)
This just awesome im sure the class will just be knocked over ...i love the distressing and the stitching :) ,maby a litle handwritten journal at the bottom or maby not ,i love it like it is
SO adorable! I love the stitching and the inking of the letters. I don't think I can bring myself to burn photo edges though... that's just too unpredictable for me... you are so brave. LOL!
This is absolutely beautiful. I love the colored rose and you did an excellent job on handwriting the letters. Very Creative, I might steal this idea when my ds turns one!!!!!!!!
Dana... WOW! This is awesome! This is for you LSS class? They are going to LOVE it. It is so... timeless! It feels a little vintage. And *GOSH* that little outfit Kennedy has on makes me wish I had a girl... she is TOO adorable! *sigh* I LOVE the tights! :)
This layout is for my class i am teaching (first one) the class is on distressing. Please don't hold back tell me what you like and what you don't. The photo is Kennedy's one year photo. I edited and turned it sepia and colored the flower on my editing software. Then i burned the edges. Sewed and inked the background.
The letters are hand cut and hand written.

this is also for the fsc#2 i don't really know what my style is...i have a very broad spectrum. One thing i know I like my layouts to have one picture in most cases. Some people have said I have a clean classic style, but i don't always have that. My style like me is everchanging.
