For Critique Group 4's challenge to use a Tim Burton movie for layout inspiration.

As soon as she listed the challenge I KNEW I wanted to do The Nightmare Before Christmas! I didn't even know which photo I wanted when I started, but when I got to looking through them... I found this one, and it all came together!

Journaling: Last October we had our own little "Nightmare Before Christmas". Apparently, our "Pumpkin King" didn't realize we were giong to massacre his subjects from the pumpkin patch! He was so upset! I'm sorry Brandon! 10/08

Details... The graveyard was done on my Cricut with SCAL software. I chalked it, and added pen work details as well as character names from the movie. The black cliff swirl was drawn freehand and sprayed with Glimmer Mist then chalked after it dried. The moon was cut on my Cricut then glimmer misted, then chalked, then stickled! The Background paper was also misted, then chalked. I drew the stars by hand and then added gems to the center. I drew the frame by hand and then cut it out in wavy lines. I spent all day on this one!

Thank you Teresa for the challenge. I had an absolute blast!

Other supplies: Memento Pen, Thickers, and Embroidery Floss.
