what a bright and cheery lo! love that blue with the yellow deli! I personally love that torn paper look! so keep it! Never have eaten there, nor have I really heard of it but through you. I agree with minday, I think you should add why you like it or what you like to eat there... just making me hungry talking about the yellow deli! nice take on the challenge Twila!
Why am I not surprised that you did a LO about the Yellow Deli?...LOL That place is much bigger than I expected it to be. I think the colors are great and you could always add journaling about why you love it or maybe just even what your fave thing to eat is.
Twila, this is great!! I love that you did something outside your comfort zone! The torn photo mat looks awesome!! I really love how it looks. Glad to finally see the famous Yellow Deli you're always talking about! LOL! This is a really cool LO!
This layout is for the Eiffle Tower group. I think this is pretty boring. We had to use die cuts of some sort, which are the letters. For extra points we had to distress something. Tearing the paper took me out of my comfort zone and I don't know that I like it. :-) September Technique Challenge: Use Die-Cuts!! You may choose any subject, any number of pics, etc., but you must use at least one die-cut on your layout! This can be as your background (as in a die-cut paper), or it can be an embellishment. You can even die-cut your photo(s)! It can be from a kit/paper collection, or you can cut it from a die-cut machine. 25 points! TWIST: Distress something, somewhere on the layout--use scissors or an edge distresser, tear something, crumple something--just distress at least one item for an extra 10 points!
