Beautiful, beautiful tribute page!!! I can see why it was hard, but you've done a wonderful job in expressing the loss of loved ones with lovely design and title and embellishments (love the vase and flowers!).
This is so beautiful on so many levels. It's a very emotional, evocative page without words. Not easy to accomplish! You've done a terrific job. A wonderful tribute layout.
This is so nice. Im sorry also that you had to lose so many that were so dear to you. I must lift this. I had a rough 2 years, especially this April to June when I lost an Aunt I was close to then 6 weeks later my dear FIL, and in August my little dog. This would be great therapy, even if sad. I love all of your angels.
Patty, this is just beautiful. I love the angel wings around the photos. You did a great job with all the details...but what shines the most are the precious memories in the photos!
I can just imagine how hard this was for you to create, Patty. I love all the work that you've done here; well worth your efforts because you've created such a great 2-pager and a wonderful tribute.
Patty, this is a wonderful tribute to the family members lost. I can see why it was difficult. I love every single thing you did with this. The angel wings are especially touching. The color combo is really great, distressing, inking ALL so well done. Very impressive!!! I bet hubby loves it. You are brave, I want to do one of hubby's mom, but am terrified. But you have inspired me to reconsider my fears.
OMG Patty! You DEFINITELY accomplished the challenge! I think it is a wonderful, sweet layout and a beautiful tribute to your hubby's family. AWESOME job!!!!!
I love everything ! this is precious and at the same time sad, it made me miss so much all my beautiful old patients I had when I worked for 3 years in a hospice company, I loved that job and I love so much elderly people. This is sweet and beautiful.
I know how your husband and you feel,I just lost my husband to cancer of the liver. It's like they took your heart with them when they left.I now have to raise our two boys by myself. Our youngest is 8 and the oldest is 11.He told me he felt bad that he would not see his sons grow up.We were married for 33 yrs.God Bless and I'll be praying for you both.Shirlk
This is sad. It made me feel the need to comfort you so I will share one of my favorite quotes. "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." ~Author Unknown
great work...shame about not meeting the deadline because I think this is really great and your title accompanied by what are obviously very dear photos, bought goosebumps to me.
This is the hardest LO I have done by far. This was for a challenge on another site that I got in too late btw because I stressed to long over it. The challenge was to scrap an emotion and I chose sorrow...no mention of the emotion in the title or any journaling...HARD!! I am happy with the LO but I don't think I accomplished the challenge. These are my DH's relatives that he has lost. I masked the flourish with Glimmer Mist and outlined it in Glossy Accents. The little wings are Tattered Angels embossed chipboard that I inked with Smooch and glimmer misted. I distressed, inked, tore and misted the papers. The title is done with my Design Studio...only because I didn't have my Gypsy yet!! LOL TFL!!
