This is for octobers personal challenge: color... and the color i hardly use is green. i have soooooo much green paper yet never use it, so i did a monochromatic LO.. i really like the look. :D
this is my father in law with his dad.. sometime b4 the 60's.. i have to call him to ask wat year it was approx.
i got this sketch from stickersnfun.com.. i believe its an august 2008 one.. ? there sketches r so great! ive printed out thumbnails of all there sketches for 12 months! so if i have pics but no idea wat LO to use.. theres were i go!
i distressed all my papers and the circle paper behind the flower on the right side is tissue paper.
the trim and brown (that i inked green!) letters in title were from my "lazy days" zany zinnia scrapbook kit. i just LOVE this trim!!! the "&" in the title is handdrawn out and cut out. i thought the negative image was stronger than the possitive so i used the neg. :)
i stamped a gold flourish on the top left.. u can hardly see it here but IRL it looks good.
