I just love this lo....such an everyday thing and unique to be scrapped! It's the little things in life that make the most difference I think and you have commemorated one of yours so beautifully!
this is so cute and I love the title. I'm to lazy these days but I've had my fair share of clotheslines. When my kids were babies I used cloth diapers. that was alot of hanging but we just couldn't afford Pampers and Huggies which is all there was back then. Plus we didn't have a dryer. My how times change.
love this! There is nothing like sun-kissed clothes!!!!! We hung our clothes out to dry in Barbados as well. In NYC, the clothesd on the line didn't have the same sweet smell so we machime dried them!!! love all of your colors in this LO!!! FAVE!
Another thing we have in common. I love the smell of fresly washed laundry swaying in the breeze. This is so cute! Brought back memeories of my childhood. :)
FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo enjoyed reading your description!!! I can still see my Mom hanging the "wash"!!! I have a new fangled clothesline & usually only hang the sheets & blankets.......... the smell of them is like a breath of fresh air!! This lo is just so heartwarming !!! LOVE it!!!!
Great pagae..love how you used the green of the grass and the polka dots of the laundry pin bag as your main colors scheme. I get a warm fuzzy looking at this sweet layout.
FAB ... love this - what a great page!! I have to admit I get a great deal of satisfaction from seeing my washing hanging on the line - how sad is that!!
This is fabulous my friend!! My Grandma's backyard always smelled the same way with the clothes line!! Love all the elements and the title you used is perfect!!

I love your clothesline embellies at the top of the page and I really like the whole idea of this lo...it is so wonderful to bring back great childhood memories....I like the part when your clothes were frozen in the winter :)
Love it!!! and I couldn't agree more. I especially love crawling into a bed made up of fresh sheets off the line...can you imagine any pleasanter dreams?!?
Awesome page Sharon, love the cut out clothesline embellies and I could actually hear the clothes flapping after reading your journaling! Loved it, a fave :)

Awesomeness! I remember my Mom doing the same thing. What a wonderful way to scrap about it. I miss the smell of sheets dried on the line. Drying them in the dryer isn't the same!
A great LO!! Love the bright colors, the fun pictures and the little paper clothes strung across the top of your LO!! And your journaling is wonderful!! I particullary like what you wrote around the circle! A great way to preserve this memory!
love it, love it, love it. the journaling is so great - brings back my childhood memories too. the whole lo is so creative. I like how the polk dot pp matches the clothes pin bag.
This is a great memory!! I remember those days but in Mexico city don't really smell fresh, smells more like cars!!! hahaha, Any way you did a really awesome job!!! Great lo!
These photos were recently taken of my clothesline in my backyard. I made this layout for the Oct. Cosmo Cricket challenge, which is supposed to be of your best work! I don't know if it is my best, but it is one of my favorite childhood memories! Small journaling block reads: "A clothesline: any type of rope that has been stretched between 2 points. Clothing that has recently been washed is hung along the line to dry, using clothes pins." My larger journaling block reads: "I love the smell of wash on a breezy day and the flapping noise that it makes. I like the old wooden clothespins. Brings back memories. When I was younger, my mom had a clothesline in our bakcyard. She kept the clothespins in a cloth bag which hung on one of the line and she could movie it along while she hung the clothes. My mom had one of those metal props that held up the middle of the line because of the wieght of the clothing. She would even hang clothes out in the winter. I remember my sweaters cracking because they were frozen! Today, when I don't have time, I still miss that sweet clean smell." And finally, the journaling around the circle reads: "And the real heaven on earth? My clothesline filled with nothing but miles and miles of wash . . . billowing in the wind, putting the clouds to shame." TFL!!!!!!
