This is the calendar area of my classroom. I've never taught 2nd grade, so I've never had a scheduled calendar time. I had a lot of fun decorating this corner for my room, though! We're required to post the skills we're working on each week, so that's why they're written here. I saw a fellow 2nd grade teacher post the spelling and vocabulary words in pocket charts and loved that idea so used that, too. My Cricut got a lot of use this summer, even in this area. TFL!
