GDCG: very well done, you're so creative. the only thing I might (I mean might) do differently. Is use the same paper as on the right. the striped on both sides vs the dotted. love the colors
GDCG: I like the chipboard slide too. And the crayon letters are great!!! Totally neat. I think you should mat the tp photo with maybe a little more lip on the bottom to make it feel like the slide platform, and then the other pictures are sliding down. But it is adorable, such a fun concept!
GDCG: I really like the raw slide..looks vintage...I would use the smaller pic for the top...would make it look more like a slide. I really like how you designed this.
GDCG: I kinda like the raw chipboard slide. I think the larger pic at the top looks fine-it is nice to have a pic w/both kids in it and it just looks like the top of the slide
GDCG: I like the raw chipboard slide. It looks like an old school metal slide. I think going with the smaller photo up top would help this look more slide like. Really cute LO though. I like the pp.
GDCG: Ok...I know the raw chipboard looks odd at first, but in the spirit of the challenge, the purpose is to get you to try something new...which you have done! I would argue though that if YOU don't like it...change it-but first give it some time to see if it is just a matter of getting used to it. The crayon technique is neat! As for the questions on the pp...I think it looks good. A lot of slides do not go all the way down to the ground so I think the bottom is ok. The photo on the top is a tough one...maybe try the smaller one and show us the redo? I can't imagine how it will look. Hope that helps
GDCG: my vote would be to leave the top photo as is. the chipboard slide stands out and doesn't get lost on the the page as far as painting it, what color would you use it should be something that didn't blend in too much because that is one cute embellishment. cute page!
title is stamped on paper that I colored using melted crayons! I will link the tutorial here if anyone is interested. I did this the other day with my dd and we were just doing it for fun. But I kept the paper like I always do, heh heh. Some of the crayons were metallic, so that looks really cool IRL. Then I sprayed them with glimmer mist. They are all dolled up! I then went a little nuts with puffy paint and stickles and ink. But for the Oct AGC we needed to use raw chipboard. So that is there like that, and I don't know if I will change it later or not. I have to type out the journaling, but I don't have it here as I am not home right now. There is doodling around the edge too. I think I am not liking the way I have the dotted pp on the left. I would rather have put it horozontal, but I didn't have enough of it as I was using scraps. I also think the pics and pp at the bottom need trimmed up a little to reach the bottom border. The girl on the left is Tilda from I think Magnolia. A gal who used to do the AGC, Gabigabs sent me a bunch of samples from her stash. I love them.
