Are you kidding me right now? This is too cute for words! LOVE everything about it! You have a beautiful eye for color and how to make a layout look really fun and sweet. Thanks for sharing!
Well this is just the cutest LO ever! It's hard to say what my favorite thing is, but I'm leaning towards the flowers that are vining on the picket fence. No! The pic! Bwah!!! That's a hoot!
Super cute! Love all your different ideas on this!!! Awesome details. I think my very favorite element is the stitched smoke from the chimney but then it could be the cute little pumpkins or maybe...I'll just stop myself there.
Girl! I have looked at the lo so many times! Each time I see something new! It is soooooo cute! I love all the little cut outs and the story the page is telling! The pic is adorable and love how you made it into a house! VERY creative!!!! Love the fence with the flower vine! Great job on the challenge!!!!
I don't know where to start as this is one of the most creative los I have seen in a long time! The tree, the fence and the sun are all fabulous! Check out the cute pumpkins and of course the beautiful pic! Nice!
This is my son on his first Halloween in a patch of Autumn mums. This was such a fun layout to do. I used mostly Cosmo Cricket Earth Love here with at little Early Bird, Haunted, Snorkel and Honey Pie thrown in.
The photo mat is a journaling card from the Haunted line. I thought it worked great as the house frame. The little tag with the date was cut from the middle of the same Haunted card, as was the heart on the roof, which I pop-dotted.
The woven flower vine on the fence is from the bridal dept at a craft store. The flowers were white and I colored them orange, then added Glossy Accents on the stigma (I think that's what the center of the flower is called). The small butterflies on the fence are from Honey Pie blackboard, which matches the die cuts in that line's paper kit. The fence is wood. I painted it with crackle paint (so fun, my 1st time!) and added distress ink.
I handmade the pumpkins. I pieced them from the backside of the Carbonation pp in the Snorkel line. I made three layers of crudely cut circles from the pp, then used pop dots between each layer. I inked them and doodled bolder curved lines. The stems were cut from a bit of green pp on the Haunted journaling cards.
The birds are from Earth Love. I cut them from patterned paper and stamped on curly q wings and added Glossy Accents to the eyes, then pop dotted them on the tree. The flowers and leaves are from Early Bird. I took this idea directly from a terrific layout called “Together” from Piradee and PM-ed her for permission.
The sun is made from Bazzill. I added the polka dots with a stamp, then added Glossy Accents to give the sun a little character. I sewed on the buttons, them stamped them with a dark coral ink for interest. I stitched the sun's curve and chimney smoke.
I think that's it. The journaling says: This little pumpkin is homegrown. Thanks for looking. :-)
