thats very creative with the dryer sheet. I hope we are still around here in a few years and you can tell me if that causes any negative effects.. I learned a hard lesson using a NON scrapbook item.. which was a CD disk. You know all the rainbow colors looks so neat and so I used that on a page.
I also had vellem and used proper vellem tape.. 3 years later.. the vellem tape all turned yellow. (I think maybe the gases given off from the CD... (?) I didn't think I had to worry about the tape..so I put it anywhere.. NOW its a mess.. :( So I'm careful now.
There is so much to say about this page!! First .. the dryer sheet!! What a cool idea! and to have everything smelling fresh is awesome! (gotta try that) Andthe picture is just adorable, what a cutie paie. And love the idea about her daddy writing about her tucked away. This will be a treasure for her, especially when she's older!
My favorite part of this is that I used a used dryer sheet behind the picture matte to give it a frilly look. Makes the whole scrapbook smell good! This is Gabby - one of my beautiful, smart and funny great nieces - I have oodles of them (about 52 nieces/nephews/great nieces & nephews). This little girl is just a hoot to watch. Tiny, but mighty! Within the little folder I have a paragraph that her Daddy wrote about her likes/dislikes/sayings. I also have another piece of paper with the statistics of her birth and another that explains who Swee' Pea really is (Popeye's adopted "Infink.") It's the Gabby File!
