Ooo... you got quite the haul there! I haven't seen the Halloween Thickers before - too cool. And I'm dying for the Twilight line of pp's. Glad you had a good time.
I went to the CKC Convention in Kansas City yesterday, Oct. 10th! My mom heard through someone at her work that this convention was going on, and she mentioned it to me, so we went!
I'm so out-of-the-loop, and I hadn't heard anything about it. I've never gone to a large-scale event like this for scrapping, so I had no clue what to expect. Because I really had no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much fun it was!
We only walked around to the vendor booths since we never signed up for classes. I enjoyed watching the little demos at different booths, and I got some great deals!: - Thickers 5 for $10 - 1 lb. of plain cardstock for $5 - All little embellies here were $1 or less - Watercolor acid-free paint (wow, never heard of this...so I thought this seemed unique and worth a try) originally $20 and marked down to $5 - Coupons and other fun things to read - Pink Paislee Halloween paper (not a great bargain on these sheets, I just liked them!)
All this under $40 and 3 hours of scrapbook shopping? It was a good time :-D
