This LO was by far the hardest and most meaningful journaling that I have ever done. Two days of tears and this is what I came up with...
Haley and Mattie,
I wish I was the shoulder you cried on when a boy made you sad. I wish I was the one that you asked for advice. I wish that I was the one who was there to tell other girls to back off when they were mean to you. I wish that I could have been there to fight with you over who does what chore. I wish that I could have shared clothes and shoes with you. I wish that I was the one who helped you get ready for your Prom.
I will never forget riding our bikes around the block and trips to Casey’s gas station to get candy. I will never forget playing at the playground until Mom would yell for us to come home because it was getting dark. I will never forget us sharing a bed because we were cold at night. I will never forget playing Barbies in our room and swinging on our swing set.
I treasure so much each and every moment that we have shared together. Calling you my sister is such an understatement. I am so proud of the both of you and would do anything for you.
