this is great! i have a large, dark, $1500 computer armoire (that the kids ruined by having drinks around their computer!) and i have it in my scrapbook room/office. you've given me inspiration to go ahead and re-do what i have in it, which is boxes of photos and QK dies and things that just need a storage space. i'd like to get it more "everyday functional" and i think i'm gonna clean it out, reorganize and get it functional again! thanks! maybe i'll even post a pic after i do it!

You have given me a great idea on a bookshelf that I was ready to give to goodwill because its outdated and wouldnt put anywhere inside my home. I have created a scrap area in my garage. and its perfect and inexpensive and dont need to buy anything fancy. thank you : )
This is an awesome idea. I like it because you can easily move the clips on the tension rod and see your items more easily than the manuf. clip-it-up. Right now I am using a 5-inch binder with see-through sheet protectors, but my binder won't close anymore and it takes up prime real estate on the desk. Thanks for sharing
I think YOUR clip idea is awesome! Not many people can afford the clip it up anyway and if they can they would rather have an idea like this and spend the rest on supllies! :)
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing this! I too get so frustrated with trying to find my stickers in my fan file folder and this would put it right in front of me! GREAT idea!
This is so pretty and well organized. Did you organize you buttons in those jars??? Because I have a few packs of mixed buttons and I'm wondering if I should sort them by color!! Amazing JOB!!!
I have used this very same method for my stickers and goodies. It works wonderfully! I had all of my stuff filed in a crate by category, but if you don't see it, you forget that you have it. Great job!
That is such an awsome idea. I'm definitely going to be borrowing this idea. I've been looking at the clip-it up stuff for a while, but this would work and much much much cheaper!
You go, girl! I have a magnetic towel bar that I use as a Clip-it-up. It was cheap, and takes up no room bc it is stuck to the outside of a metal cabinet.
I had a shelf that was not serving much of a purpose...and a large basket of embellishments that were organized by theme (baby, birthday, etc) but that were not easily seen without removing them all and flipping through them. This was frustrating bc I couldn't SEE what I had, or worse FIND what I was looking for when I knew I had one. Part of the problem was that things can often be filed in more than one category. Having seen the clip it up, I wanted one, but I found it to be very pricey, and I lacked the space to put it. When I was browsing other's galleries I noticed others improvising by using AN INEXPENSIVE TENSION CURTAIN ROD AND BASIC SHOWER CURTAIN HOOKS. TOTAL COST...UNDER $10.00!!! I know it may not look as pretty as the clip it up but it has increased my use of items that I forgot I had...plus it is right above the sewing machine/cricut where I sit most often and I don't have to even get up to find stuff! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
