Monday morning…

After breakfast, Bill and Bruce decided to see if they could
remember how to make the origami dollar bill hearts that Joe
showed them at Cracker Barrel on Sunday morning.
Joe prompted them both a little (especially when it came to all
the “squash folds”) but Bill was first to complete his heart!

After a most enjoyable visit, Bruce and Miriam rode off into the afternoon sun. It was a busy, fun-filled weekend, with dinner
Friday afternoon at Fiore's followed an early evening swim in the
pool that lasted well after dark until we all had pruny fingers and
toes. Saturday morning starting with an early breakfast at
McDonald's followed by a fantastic day at Juniper Springs and
dinner at Lena's Seafood Restaurant.
We all crashed Early Saturday night and hit the ground running
Sunday morning with breakfast at Cracker Barrel where Joe gave
Bruce and Bill lessons in folding origami hearts out of dollar bills.
We all chilled out on Sunday afternoon then had steaks, mashed potatoes, corn soufflé, salad and chocolate fudge cake for dinner.
Monday morning brought in a refresher course for Bruce and Bill in origami dollar-bill heart folding and a home cooked breakfast.
Bruce then took Bill for a motorcycle ride around Ocala and past
John Travolta's house while Miriam packed their things. Then it was time to say goodbye.
We had so much fun with Bruce and Miriam. The welcome mat will always out for them.
