This one is mostly journaling about why dh gave me these roses. I printed on vellum and use Mrs.G's stickers to adhere it over the same pp that I used to mat the photos.
Journaling Reads:
One of the first things that Denni did for me after he came home that brought me joy was to buy me roses to show that he loved me. It was one of the things we had talked about during our counseling that he had stopped doing somewhere in the 10 years we had been married before he left.
These roses were my favorite variety – peach peace roses and they made cry tears of happiness. I had promised Denni during that last week that he was gone that I would always believe in him and these flowers were a symbol of his commitment to be worthy of that faith.
Since then, he has brought me flowers several times, often carnations or a mix of seasonal blooms and even a couple of cactus plants because our love has survived a very dry spell and bloomed again, but these were the first of our “second marriage” and proof that Denni once again thinks of me as “his Lady”.
