'Eye' at Night

This is a layout of dh, my friend and me riding the London Eye. This is the official picture that gets taken as you ride round. I wanted the lo to represent the London Eye at night as it is lit up red for everyone to see from miles around, so I hand-stitched the circle in red and white thread and added my journaling along the ‘spokes' of the wheel. The title is a play on the title of a long-running TV programme here in the UK called 'The Sky at Night'.

Journalling reads: We were determined to ride the London Eye at night, to see the sights all lit up. One of the best sights was the Eye itself as it was lit up with red lights and could be seen for miles around. London Roadtrip, 11/10/09. TFL!
