Wow, gorgeous page! I can't even begin to imagine the different emotions that must flow through you on a day like this. So glad to hear he came home safe. I love this page and the embellishments, especially the "grateful" writing. Nice work!
Oh, goodness, Veronica, I just got goosebumps reading your description. So glad your DH is safe. And, moments like these change one's perspective. Wonderful layout!!
SO pretty!! Love the colors and that butterfly is beautiful! What is that? Love the title you used and the little heart/lock charm! Very lovely, vintagey page! I'm STILL trying to get some scrapping done! I was trying to work on a page ealrier but the ideas weren't coming so I gave up and went to they gym! I'm going to try to work on it now..wish me luck :)
what a beautiful lo! love the colors. thanks for sharing the story behind the pic and lo. many thanks to your husband for his service to our country and you as a wife to a military solider. speaking from a military daughter.
This LO is special to me- it showcases the last pic of me and my dh on the day he deployed to the Middle East. Lots of emotions on that day...fear, nervousness, sadness...you just never know what will happen and learn to appreciate these moments and not sweat the small stuff...
Journaling reads, "Deployment day- March 27, 2008. I got to visit you one last time in Seattle after your training. I thank God you came home safely from Iraq."
