Great lo! I really like how you added the fabric. Isn't it wonderful when you can tell that someone really loves something you make for them as a gift?
This LO is my brother and SIL with the quilt I made them for Christmas a few years ago. Journaling reads: "In the fall of 2003, Mike and I had just gotten married over the summer, just bought a house, and I didn't even have a job yet. I was substitute teaching, but you could hardly call it steady. To say the least, money was tight. Christmas was approaching, but the budget didn't have a whole lot of space for family gifts. One thing I DID have was time, so I put it to good use. I made a quilt for Gabe and Martha, and a quilt for Aaron and Beth. I can tell Gabe and Martha have loved and cherished their quilt, and will be needing another one to replace it before long!"
