Watching them stand on the edge of the ocean I can't help but think about all the times Jason was away; floating off the coast of some foreign country and doing
what he does best...being a hero. What's so amazing is that Allison has know idea what her father has seen or where he has been or what he has even done
for our country. Yet he is still her hero just because he is her daddy and he is always there for her. What's makes it so special is that when she is old enough
to understand that daddy is a sailor, and when he tells her all that he has seen and done...he will still be her daddy and her hero no matter what. But for now
he will just be there for her and show her the path of wonder. Showing her the water and telling her the stories until that day when she asks about daddy being
a sailor. Then she will know that her hero has been a hero to not just her, but to the country as well.
