PERFECTION is what I call this LO!! I love those monograms, the title choice, the pic, the brochure/pocket, the touch of blue ribbon and photo corners and the overall design!! wtg!! It's all down right gorgeous!!
Jasmine, another GORGEOUS layout!!!! I love every bit of it. I have that same set of papers and totally struggled with them. Thank you for inspiring me to give them another go -- this is an awesome example of how to use them! The design, journaling, embellishments all works together beautifully. Great job on the rubon ;) -- I heard it was more difficult than it sounds and touching it up with a pen made it perfect. Keep the gorgeous LOs coming!!
this is truly wonderful, Jasmine! :d love the monograms and the techniques you used here! ;) the embellies are great and so is the journaling! :) great job!
The colors are a bit dark on the upper left side due to the scan. IRL, the overall colors are more vibrant.
I made my own titles and monograms. The pocket contains the booklet I got from the planetarium. First time I tried to make my own rub-ons (starry), but I failed miserably so I had to trace over it with a black pen. TFL!
Journaling says: You were only 3 when we visited Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium. One of the reasons why admittance was recommended for children at least 5 years old was because younger than that, they may be noisy and would have to leave the planetarium. Of course, Dad and I were worried that you'd be bored. We wanted to watch the show too...But our worries were put to rest coz when you were watching, you were so mesmerized by the beautiful night sky and all the stars and planets. As it was pitch dark and you were tired from all the walking during our tour, after a few minutes, you were off to dreamland.
