This is so pretty! I have 4 canvas' just sitting on the floor, been wanting to try my hand at it but wasn't sure what to do on them or how, well you just inspired me too! Did you PAINT the canvas first? This is very pretty. Great gift idea. TFS
Love it!! Great work! I have been wanting to play around with altering canvas and you just inspired me to actually DO IT!! Love the colors and the J is beautiful!!!!!
I just finished this altered canvas as a present for my cousin who is due to have her little girl any day now, the J is for Jocelyn. I got the idea by combining the art canvas and shabby letter I saw on the Shabby Princess's blog. I used a 8x10 canvas, acrylic paints, ribbons, wood letter, chip board hearts and papers from Joann's and the flower was by MM. The B&W photo is actually me, put in for demonstration purposes, but I made it with the photo corners so when I send it to her (w/o my photo obviously) she can slip in her own photo of the baby. Took me a couple of hours to do, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I'm planning on starting another one for my Bridget.
