This is such a great LO! I love that he journaled it in his handwriting..makes it more special!!! I also like the blue mat! And thank him for us...my husband is a vet, as is my brother. And my son in law is in Afghanistan now and my nephew is probably going back to Iraq. Thank you so much for sharing this page!

How wonderful that he journalled for you. I suspect his emotions and feelings are something that he alone has to bear - I am not sure that most people could handle what these men witnessed. This is truly a wonderful tribute to your FIL and it is an important part of your son's heritage. Blessings to you all
