This is Cassie's portrait for Jazz for the '08-09 dance year. They danced to a mix of Janet Jackson songs. I've already scrapped her Ballet portrait from this year -- 2 more to go - Tap & Combo. I'm doing them all on a white bg and trying to match the style to the costume. I was going for an urban, but still pretty, feel for this one so I used a lot of distressed look pp's, a graffiti look font, and the metal accents. The ballet portrait for Giselle is floral and bling-y, and is in the 2009 Album in my gallery if you're interested. I found the quote on a LO by kimijt, and it says:
Little girls dance their way into your heart;
whirling on the tips of Angel wings
scattering gold dust and kisses in our path.

This is for a few challenges:
1. ABC Challenge Round 10 - KLM.
K - Kiss: I have the x's and o's in the bottom corner, and the word 'kisses' is in the quote.
L - Lacing: I did the twist to lace with something out of the ordinary. I used beaded chain.
M - Main: The LO must have a clear "main" picture -- got it!

2. Use Your Supplies Week 3 - White.
We had to use a white cardstock background.
