This is a birthday card for my sponsor child who will be six. I didn't add a "happy birthday" because she doesn't speak english so I added a couple stamps and she'll get the picture. I used my favorite papers from Bo Bunny. My card is 7.5 inches by 12 wide. Some special techniques I used were for the grungeboard heart. First I inked it with "Fired Brick" then I embossed it with a cuttlebug folder. To finish it I put the ink pad directly on the embossed raised edges. That make that area darker and it stands out more. At the tip of the heart you will see a row of hearts. Those are called Paper Frills (found at hobbylobby). I used instead of ribbon because I can ink it to match my layout and it's not bulky. I used Adirondack Alcohol Ink, "Watermelon", on it.
