Rowyn's first birthday

On Rowyn's first birthday, we brought Baelin home from the NICU after a three month stay. Rowyn was less than excited about the newest "gift"! She actually looked at him and then looked at me with a face that seemed to say "you have got to be kidding me!" Baelin was on many monitors and oxygen and lots of machines so he required tons of attention...but we still found the time and energy to make Rowyn's special day VERY SPECIAL! Oh, by the way, she TOTALLY ADORES Baelin now!

About the layout...I'm still not happy with it but here is what I did... I stamped the image and embossed it, distressed pretty much everything, I embossed the green paper, I got the beautiful flower from my SS this round and added some extra flowers to match the ribbon I put on. On the ribbon, I added the peach/pink flowers and the lace butterflies and then melted the butterflies so they looked aged with my heat gun. I stamped and embossed the date tage, I used a border corner punch, and then just pretty much flew by the seat of my pants adding stuff until I got this...like I said, NOT happy with it, but it is done!

THANK YOU SISTER FOR MY FLOWER-THAT IS THE BEST PART OF THIS WHOLE LAYOUT!!!!
