File Folder Mini Album for my December Swap Buddy

Accordian style mini album made out of a file folder...you can't tell from this picture BUT the big letters are glitter letters.

Here is what you do to make it (SUPER EASY...you MUST try!):

Take a file folder with a middle tab. Open it up to where the middle tab is on the right hand side. Fold the bottom all the way up to the top (in 1/2). Take one side and fold to the center crease (the edge should reach the center, even though the "tab" will over lap past the center crease. Same thing with other side, but turn it over so it "accordians." As many as I have folded, I can't get it to line up perfectly, but it doesn't look bad so don't stress over it...

I then glue the top and bottom and along each crease/fold so a tag can fit in the open part without moving around.

If one of your tabs is huge or is sticking out way too much or looks awkward (which this blue one didn't - (because it is a premium, pre-printed folder) BUT the green one I did today does - regular, extended tab colored file folder I found laying around), just cut it off on a cutting board to even it out, leaving one of the tabs. It still comes out cute that way!
Pick complementary papers and do what you do best! :-) You can also add tags to the open ends...or not! :-)
