Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Maui is the perfect place to get married especially if your true friends are there to share it with you. Great job!
MARTHA!!! this is phenomenal!! Okay, there is so much about this page that I love and I will try my best to note everything, it's hard to remember though...I stared at it for the longest in AWE... loving that basic grey paper (which is Perfect)... with that flower and all.. ok, your wedding picture w/ you and your girlfriends is beautiful, YOU WERE BEAUTIFUL, and actually glowing...and no wonder, what an awesome sweet story. I know how important it is to have "real" friends around in sad times, and most importantly in happy times such as your wedding... and this is truly a declaration of that fact...Your friends are beautiful too. LOVE the hidden tag, Love the way you did supriseD... cool, Love how you put my and me on rounds... really pretty, love how you used so many flavors of scissors, really nice touch. Your stitching is awesome, and I also love how you cut out the leaves/stems and added as outlines at the top and bottom...Love the array of primas, and how you tucked some of the corners into the bloom using the notch tool.. I wish you the best, infact I pray that you are a winner.. Your friendship has been a blessing to me here at this site, and I know you work hard, and deserve to win. You are a wonderful person Martha. And so is this page... ;)
LOVE, love, love this! I love the handcut flower & leaves; the stitching on the flower is great too. Very sweet lo & what a sweet story! TFS :)
Wow, this is AMAZING!!! Love that great photo-- your excitement is obvious! Love the journaling- it describes everything so well. You've used the BG so well here, and I love that big flower! The sewing is a nice touch, too! Fabulous!
WOWIE! This is awesome!! I love how you used the giant bg flower paper with the oh so meticulous sewing around the edges. It looks perfect with your photo! (you are gorgeous BTW). I love this!! Good luck in the contest!
Gasp!!! This is sooooo beautiful!!! I looks like a sure winner to me! What wonderful things you have done here! Your stitching is great, and I like how you hid the tag behind the flower! The little flowers are cute and the lettering is the best!!
Great photo and layout! LOVE how the flowers mimic your bouquet and the soft romantic feel from the stitching and the notch tool. And beautiful journaling. Good luck!
WOW! What a beautiful page! I love that at a glance it's beautiful, but the more you look at it you start seeing ALL of the detail you put into it. You did a great job. I am excited to look at your gallery to see the rest of your layouts.

This is my first entry for the BIG contest!!! This picture was taken right before my wedding 2 years ago, minutes after my friends surprised me! I didn't know they were coming! Journaling on tag: When Leslie and Kelli surprised me just moments before our wedding, It WAS PERFECT!!!!! I was so happy to have them with me for this big step. They had been thru so much with me in the past couple of years, it felt right to have them with me on this day. They were there right beside me when I felt the despair of my marriage unraveling around me. They comforted me, let me cry and made me feel like everything was going to be ok during my divorce. They let me know that I WAS OK and that soon things would feel normal. They were there when I had the first glimmer of a crush on Mike and made me feel like it was OK. They were always there for me no matter what. When Mike and I decided to get married in Maui we wanted a small intimate wedding, just family....I was so hoping that Leslie and Kelli could come too. We talked about it but nothing was ever planned out ( or so I thought). Mike and I went to Maui to get married. The big day came, I was so excited, in the back of my mind I thought just how perfect it would be if Leslie and Kelli were there too... so when I saw their smiling, sunburnt faces coming towards me a few minutes before the wedding, I burst into tears and laughter all at once! My friends that had shared every step of the way with me during the last 3 years were there to share the best step of my life. I was so surprised and so very happy! It made the day even that more perfect!
