Very touching layout!! I'm glad Kobe is appearing to be back to normal? I know the illness of a family member is heart breaking especially when you can't do anything to fix it. Sweet and emotional and heart coming from your work!
This is one of the sweetest pet pages I've ever seen. Beautiful work. Great little zig zag border under the pic. love how you did it as a get well message. I hope your pooch is on the mend and doing fine. And that mommy is fine too now and sleeping!
Awww, just read about her illness, I'm so glad she's doing better. This page is an amazing tribute displaying your love for her. You are all lucky to have one another.
OH, I just now read this... so sad that Kobe is not well.. Glad that she's a little better, but praying that she makes a full recovery... What a beautiful layout!!
Oh! I am so sorry I missed this one, Vija! She and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine how quiet and empty your house was without her. What a relief for both of you that she's home and able to sleep without being pestered by an insecure dog! SMOOCH on the head for you, sweet Kobe! This LO is stunning! My favorites are filling up with your Kobe pages!!! Love every little detail and, of course, that amazing photo of our SuperStar!
She looks so lovely in her bed of flowers. I used to get so mad as our cocker spaniels when they would do that! I hope she is feeling better soon and am glad you have her home with you. This layout is so pretty! I just love the design and hope you don't mind if I lift it for the album my dsd asked me to make for our SIL. They just recently put down their Boxer. He was 8-years-old, which is typical life-span, and had developed brain cancer that was causing epileptic fits. As you can imagine, Tim took it pretty hard.
Awwwww I'm sorry she has not been feeling well! Oh that is so hard when your friend is ill and especially hard when they are not around you. I'm sorry! I'm glad to hear she is back home where she belongs and she gets better really quick!
Oh I do hope Kobe gets better real quick! I am sure that now she is back home with Mom it will make all the difference!!! Keep us posted!! Great LO by the way :)
This is a great lo! I love love love the combination of green and pink. I work at a vet's hospital, so I know how stressed animals can be while there, especially if there's other barking/whining dogs in the hospital. Hope she's doing great now!
Oh Vija, this is beautiful! Love the photo of Kobe, the circle, colors, but your message on your journaling tag really touched my heart deeply! Keeping you and Kobe in our prayers. {Hugs to you and Kobe} Think it appropriate to say, from all of us here "Get Well Soon, Kobe!!"
Oh, I am so sorry to hear Kobe is sick!!! Poor pup!! Sending get well wishes across the big pond to her!! This is so cute!! What a sweet LO about her... how old is she? Hugs!!
Oh, I was so sad until I read your update, so glad Kobe is home and getting better! I love the page and your journaling about her lying on the flowers tugged at my heart :( Again, glad she's home
Oh no! Poor Kobe, and poor you! I am so sorry to hear she is sick but glad to hear she is getting better!! This is a lovely lo, even though it is under sad circumstances that you created it!
Scrapping is so theraputic...even when you can't sleep, or you have to be patient, just getting feelings on paper and having photos is so much better.. Glad to hear Kobe is home, ready for extra cuddles!
Oh no! I really hope that Kobe gets better. I'm glad to hear that she has improved a little bit. I will pray for her...
Your layout is truly fantastic.
aww... how sad that Kobe is sick. I hate leaving my dog at the vet, unless he's hooked up to something, I just tell them to tell me what to do and I will do it. Over the years I've taken care of almost everything, once even an amptutation. (that was very sad). You dog looks so sweet. You know, when my dogs have been sick - my vet told me to make a bowl of oatmeal. So I make one for the dogs (each - you can't let only one have oatmeal hehehe) and one for myself! This is especially good if they are sick to their stomach (throwing up) or the other end too. Hope Kobe gets well soon. Sweet page here!
Kobe became unwell four days ago and after many intensive tests she even had surgery to see if there were any foreign bodies in her tummy but there weren't, and we still don't know what the matter is with her. There is more info. on my blog. I have just spent my third night without her and I can hardly function. I sat up last night to do this layout for her. Finished it around 1am and still couldn't sleep. I just want her to get better and come home where she belongs!!! P.S. edited to add the following update: Kobes' condition has improved & the vets were happy to release her from hospital to further recouperate & get better at home. Apparently the Shar Pei in the cage next to her howled and wined all night and made it difficult for Kobe to relax. So even if your a dog in hospital you could end up with a noisy room mate and not get any sleep! She has four lots of medication to take....so we're still tackling everything and anything as to the cause of her illness but I do feel better she is at least back at home again.
