This is a page for my son's baby book. He's 4 months old here. He's always been a content and sweet natured child, but he sure didn't smile much in those early months, especially when there was a camera around. We used to call him the little marine because his fists were often clenched like he was looking for a fight and he had such a serious look most of the time. The little tag lists his 4-month milestones and the date of the photo. I made a little pocket for the tag on the backside of the title strip.

This layout is a lift of the sweet LO “Gram” by 2girls2dogs and was made from scraps of Scenic Route that I had cut for another layout but didn't end up using. I've had my eye on these papers, though, and was able to strategically place the ribbons and strips to make the pp work here. Oh, I will miss SR. I love their cute papers. Sigh. I pieced the hippo (yes, that is supposed to be a hippo, lol!) from some Making Memories pp and a few tiny bits of Bazzill. It looks simple but it took me awhile to do. I had no idea what a hippo tail looked like... The flowers I punched from cardboard and inked.
