Beautiful LO. Heartwarming story. My DH is ex military, so I know how hard it was for you to have him away like that. I'm glad he returned to you safe and sound. You have a beautiful family.
This is such an awesome page, Darlene! My nephew is currently in Afghanistan (first deployment was to Iraq) and we sure missed him at Thanksgiving! Glad your little family was all together this year and I rejoice with you over God's faithfulness! You did a great job on the challenge and scraplift!
I am marking this as inspiring because this really is just that. Wonderful lo and please thank your husband for me and my family for his courage, bravery and dedication to our country. Thanks also to you for the same because I know being the wife of a military husband also takes the same. Happy Holidays to your great looking family!!!
I become an emotional wreck when I look at pictures like these...how did we ever make it through those months and months and months?!?!?! I love this page...I may scraplift soon I hope.
I'm so happy for you that he arrived home safe.. I hope he doesn't have to go back. After being gone a whole year your life must be so different.. Like a ton of bricks has been lifted off your shoulders.. I can just imagine how much love you felt and happy you can be together again. Beautiful sentimental layout.
WOW!!! This is really cool!!! I love the camouflage colors of the lo and the flowers are perfect! The journaling is precious! What great memories to have! Great job on the challenge!!!
Awesome layout, glad your DH is home safe and sound! Please give him my thanks for serving our country! I do appreciate the sacrifices he makes for us as well as the sacrifices you make too.
A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! And PLEASE Thank your husband for the freedom that I have today!!! And I'm so glad that he is safe at home with you and your cute baby!!
i made this for military challenge (used mil pic, lace under title, and twist of wat i was thankful for), week 3 of use ur supplies ( white cardstock BG), and ABC challenge (UVW)
journaling reads, "After nearly 12 months of Chris being deployed to Iraq, it was finally the day of his homecoming! The day was filled with tears, hugs, and love. Thank you God for granting us this blessed reunion. This will remain an unforgettable day."
U- Uneven- i went NUTS with this. i even made the design off centered!! EVERYTHING is in an uneven number... 3 word title, two of the words in title have 3 letters, the other word has 5 letters, 9 brads, 1 photo holder, 9 flowers, 3 buttons, 7 pearls (two on "t" in title, 5 under the word "God") 1 picture, 7 different papers (BG, green decorative scissored square, tan circle, olive green photo mat, shiney green mat, white journaling spot, and green date stamp (on the bottom left side) ) i really loved the uneven idea :)
v- vanilla- "winter white" cardstock :)
W- warm weather- pic was taken in may 2008, it was very warm in louisiana.
