My family visiting Silver Dollar City (old western theme park) while on vacation in Branson, Missouri earlier this year.

A rare 2 page layout for me as I REALLY struggle with 2 pagers. Anyway, this layout took me two months (on and off) to complete. I had a lot of difficulties trying to balance all the pics left to right. To complicate matters, my husband really wanted me to somehow incorporate the bag from the theme park's gift store (all the cutouts and title) on this layout.

I got a lot of my inspiration for this layout (from the chipboard latches to the keys to the torn edges) from Gabriellep's gallery (love all of her work). She is an awesome artist and her blog is so helpful (I never thought to paint the latches black then touch them up slightly with gold paint to achieve that "rusty" look). Thank you Gabi!!
