This is my 4th layout for the challenge Uses Yours your supplies: week 4 Journaling. Everything on this layout I had in my drawers except the little metal tag wrapped around my picture, that say "True Love". I bought that today, for this layout, because I thought it would fit in perfectly wrapped with crinoline. Everything else I've had in my supplies for months.
The black paper is,Crushed Velvet cardstock made by Doodlebug design. The silver were just one left over piece I cut with Martha Stewart's new Weaved Hearts, (I don't know the name of that smooth sliver paper)..But Martha's new Weaved hearts punch I LOVE IT!! Be prepared to see more of those gorgeous hearts!! The Butterfly bling are zva Self adhesive Crystal's Butterflies I bought many months ago from ebay. This is my second attempt at Stitching but this time I used sliver eyelets to glass it up alittle. The picture of the roses, Bible and rings is a copy of my wedding invitation. I was quite happy it copied so well. The silver glitter under both pictures is self stick paper from Darice The Picture of our first kiss is a copy of the original too.. I'm so happy with how my pictures have been scanning and printing. I'm not sure who made the iridescent flowers beneath the roses, but they are gorgeous!! Black hearts I punched out from the extra velvet paper.
THE JOURNALING.....
The journaling is something that is special to me, for its the poem I put inside my invitation, right before the announcement of our marriage. Its hard to see so I'll repeat it here.
Love is the sweetness of life the joy and happiness of sharing
The ultimate miracle of love is this: That love is given to us to give to one another.
We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary in July, this year. I think this layout looks like it was celebrated yesterday. I'm pleased with how it looks. I lost my wedding album in 3 moves and have only recently found it, this is my second wedding layout. (there will be more but don't usually do the same type of layout in a row.)
Thanks for looking I hope there is something that you enjoy about my Forever layout.
