Up dated pic of LO...the other one was too bright. Journaling:"Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower". This is Frankie, my nephew, on his 1st trip to the Appalachian Trail in the fall many years ago. The bling doesn't show well in this pic of the LO... Better IRL. What I did: I googled a leaf pattern, printed it and hand drew it. I used my Prima laser cut paper of numbers as a stencil as I did on my LO before this one(this time the numbers represent the years that have pasted). I used cheap acrylic paint on Prima Embossed 12x12 chipboard to pull the colors from his wrap. I then used brown acrylic paint mixed with an artist medium(polyurethane would work) and antiqued the edges where the antiquing mixture would sink into the crevasses of the embossed part of the chipboard. You have to quickly, gently wipe it off so as not to remove the sunken in browns. Add a second coat if necessary(I did). It dries quickly with a blow dryer(paint and antiquing mix)....in a matter of seconds.
