This is a cute cute photo! You may want to scan that polaroid - they will fade out over time. I've had several that I scanned and enhanced with photo editing software, and they printed out great. Super page!
Love, love, love this Lisa! I'm so glad you have pictures like this of Lexie so you can always remember the fun you had with her. I think of you often and hope you are doing well.
Lisa, this is such a precious and fun memory to document. Lexie was a very smart girl...smart enough to be weirded out by the dude in the red suit and all that facial hair!! Great photos on this very pretty Christmasy page. Hugs to you.
I love your title and journaling on this! I want to take my two puppies to have their pic taken with Santa this year and was just thinking I need to find out which pet store is doing them...
This is super cute and what a great memory. Love the story behind this. Those pics are so funny. I love how he just won't pose with Santa, no matter how many doggie treats are in his stocking! Nice titlework and great page.
I like the old time Christmas feel to this. and love that she was so excited over her stocking. So happy to see that you were able to this layout. I know you miss her a ton and I hope scrappy fond memories helps you heal.
This is a photo of Lexie in December 2006 sneaking a peek at her stocking - she did this all the time, and I'm so glad I got a photo of it! The photo of her and Santa is one of those polaroids you get at a pet store for a donation to a shelter. We did that every year of her life.
Subtitle: Has Santa Come Yet? Journaling: Lexie loves Christmas! When she sees me take out her stocking, she follows me around at a trot. Several times a day, she gets on the hearth to check it out to see if Santa has come yet. Those biscuits on the front drive her crazy! On Christmas morning, she runs downstairs to her stocking and pulls everything out. She's good at opening presents too - and would love to help everyone get theirs unwrapped! Too bad this love of all things Christmas does not extend to Santa himself. Every year is a torture session to get her photo with him at the pet store. She hates it!
The title frame is grungeboard that I painted black and sprayed with gold glimmer mist. I did the same to the bare chipboard corner. I used gold paint on the edge of the photo mat, the edge of the polaroid, and under the journaling. The edges of the pp and the cardstock are inked in gold.
This is for: 1. November Use Your Supplies Week 4 - Journaling.
2. Weekly Old Pagemaps #10 Week 2. I mirrored the sketch.
