Program: PSE3 Kit: Enchanted Christmas by Christina Bartholomew Fonts: Bradley Hand
Journaling reads: Twas the week before Christmas And all through the place The junk piled up around The bathrooms we'll replace
The stockings were hung But covered with dust Because drywall & tubs Had been torn out with fuss
But hope was in the air Because the promise was made Finished by Christmas The bathrooms would be laid
But still life went on At the Bartholomew House Joey's preschool had a program And they sang louder than a mouse
The babes were all over And keeping them away From the tools & debris Was quite challenging in its way
They climbed out of cribs, Pulled books off the shelves And behaved themselves not Unlike Santa's elves Grabbing the presents, The ornaments, too Hoping that Christmas Would bring toys for them two
The preliminary plans for Our brand-new dwelling Came back from the architect Fresh & compelling
Finding a builder was Going quite well The one that we liked Was honest, we could tell
So into this chaos The M grandparents stepped To check on the kids And the plans to accept
At Grandpa's hotel They had an indoor pool Used twice by the yabbies Though the twins found it cruel That we made them behave And play in the water So they snuggled in Towels like good little daughters
Grandma M found knowing Which twin was which Was not hard at all, Thanks to Allison's lip Which stuck out for nearly a mile Whenever she wanted To pout for awhile Which happened, of course When someone would smile or try to hold her -- Just Allison's style
Sarah was better, And just whimpered a bit And put up with more Without throwing a fit
Twas the week before Christmas And life was so fun Though we can't wait 'til more things are done
We love our family And our dear friends But we know they'll be glad That this rhyme's at an END.
