How to instructions: First, I took the Fleur-de-lis die cut and paper from the Country Christmas paper pack and cut it using the Cuttlebug. I used 3 out of the 4 die cuts. I used red paper for the corners. I cut 2 of the smaller square pendant die cut and placed them side to side. Those are the ones in the greenish paper. I laid the “Tis the Season to be Jolly” tag on top.
On the left side of the front I used the Noel Solutions cartridge for the ornament. I cut 3 layers. The first layer is red, the middle is in green and the last layer is in gold paper. I cut them on the cricut in white cardstock. Then I took fired brick & pine needles distress ink, along with the ink tool applicator, and inked the images cut. After inking the top layer red I ran it through the cuttlebug using an embossing folder. When done I took the fired brick ink pad and pressed it directly on the ornament's embossing areas. Take it on and off as many times as you need to. I added green ribbon to the top. To finish, I added some gold rub-on stickers.
For the inside top of the card I used another Spellbinder die cut, Deckled Edge. The larger die cut was done with a medium green cardstock. After embossing I flip it over and took my ink tool applicator and pine needles ink and covered the paper. Remember to keep the die cut in place while inking. Then I cut the smaller die cut. I stenciled with Tea Dye ink. That would allow a slightly darker paper but still show the pattern on it. I stamped Santa Clause on top.
TIP: When it comes to stenciling, die cut with a lighter paper that you can make darker with ink pads.
On the bottom, I cut “Merry” and “Christmas” using Noel cartridge. I added a couple of stickers.
