Looks great! I agree... I have a couple packs of Magic Mesh and have only ever used it on ONE layout.
Although, DH keeps drywall tape on hand (he does doors & hardware so he keeps it in case they have to patch something), and I find that chalking and sealing that lets me do it in whichever color I please, and have used that in a few LOs.
Great job, though! It looks great!
Great job using something that you hate :) I'm still trying to figure out what I have in my stash that I hate! :) There is some PP that I think is really disgusting, plus I hate using plain white paper for backgrounds. Anyway, great job with the challenge!
Really cute! I have never used magic mesh myself...it looks too much like the stuff that the sheetrockers used when they did the sheetrocking in my house! You did a great job incorporating it into this theme though! Adorable children by the way!
This layout is for the Weekly Challenge #1 for the February NO Shopping Challenge. I was to find something in my supply stash that I hate and use it in a layout. I found some Magic Mesh that I have had around for a long time. I do not like the stuff, and find it pretty pointless. But, I slapped some it on this layout, and it actually kinda works with the train theme--looks a little like tracks. So, maybe I won't hate Magic Mesh anymore. ;)
