I made this as a Christmas gift for DH's aunt & uncle. I didn't have any pictures except from their son's wedding, so I put those on the middle layer and added a journaling spot to the other two layers, then they can add pics to the other spots.

The top of the box I put aluminum tape behind the ribbon to keep it from laying flat. I used the brown paper bag technique for the flower (from the swirlydoos website). In the middle of the exploding box, I made a small 2 inch box that you can't really see. You can't open it, but it has ribbon tied around it and the flower on top.

The only thing I am not happy with about this is that the bottom (biggest) layers of the box lay totally flat, but I don't know how to prevent that...so any suggestions would be appreciated!
