Thanks for looking! This is a picture of my daughter right before she turned 1. I found these plain wooden stars at a local craft shop, remembered I had this paper and the rest is history. I first painted the stars with an acrylic then I layered them with irridescent watercolours. I used a transparency filter to make the main picture look softer.
The journaling reads: "There is something absolutely mesmerizing about watching Paige sleep. She is so innocent and trusting (and silent and warm) and she hasn't a care it would seam. I'd lie down beside her, if she would let me, and try and gaze into her dream."
