I started by embossing the front of the card. I ran it through the Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing powder. Then I took my ink applicator tool and Broken China ink and ran it across the paper. Then I took some grungeboard paper and did the same. (5 ¼ x 4 inches). Then I took some of their snowflakes and painted 2 of them white. I did that because I wanted them to have different shades. I took the broken china ink and inked the top snowflake, that's the one I didn't paint. I wanted that one to be the darkest. I inked the middle white snowflake with a light layer of ink and the bottom one I left white.
Then I took out my fleur-de-lis die cut. I used the small square and just cut it in half. Then I angled it as you can see in the photo. I took a piece of blue crackle paper and stamped on it. I added scalloped trim (paper frills) and placed it under the grungeboard. After attaching everything onto the page I added gold, blue, silver glitter glue on the front of the grungeboard.
For the top inside of the card I used glossy cardstock which I cut 2 inches x 2 inches. Then I took my alcohol inks and my ink applicator tool and covered the cardstock. Then I stamped a snowflake using the distress embossing ink pad. Then I poured on distress embossing powder and heated it. I then matted them with dark green cardstock.
For the bottom, I cut out a snowman from Cricut's Christmas Cheer cartridge. The bottom layer was inked with Broken China. The top layer was covered with Stickles. I also used the distress embossing powder on the scarf. I added some buttons. Then I cut a piece of vellum and cardstock with Spellbinder Labels 5. To finish it off, I stamped on the vellum.
I'll write my message on the inside when I know who it's going to.
