This is so cool! What a shot! A bumblebee in flight is hard enough but just as it is about to "come in for a landing" on a beautiful flower too. He should look for a photography contest to submit this photo too. I love your LO! The colors are very attractive on this. Love your added blue ribbon too. You both did an awesome job!
Absolutely amazing! Love the little photo in the brackets and all the flowers & their placement. I did the same thing to my DH 15 yr ago with the old SLR (not digi) and taught him basics. He is also so talented! Smart moms, huh?!!!!!
This is beautiful -- really love the way the bg pp blends in with but still showcases the fantastic photos! Wonderful job, Mom!! I'm sure he will appreciate this!
Just beautiful! Amazing pics and colors! Wonderful frame work on both pics and great award embellie!!!! Your son did a great job, i have a hard enough time with my little Nikon or Sony point and shoots!!
This is absolutely gorgeous!! And no, I can't really tell how proud of him you are! lol jk... You have every right to be proud parents... The photos are amazing!!
Beautiful page. Those pics are STUNNING. Your young son really does have a talent and I love the way you have encouraged him. The journaling is so heartfelt.
I just love that you are so proud of him....and rightly so!!!!!!!!!!!!! you BOTH have done an amazing job to create this wonderful layout. great teamwork!!!!!
This layout was made in honor of my Son Kyle and his fantastic photography skills. I am submitting it into Dec Sketch Challenge as well as the Nature themed Laid back Challenge. I originally was going to make two different layouts.. but with the difficulty I was having with my computer this week (and the slight panic at the NEW computer screwing up), I read the challenge wrong. Thinking the Sketch challenge was suppose to have a Nature theme, I then realized that was not the case after I was well into this layout. I've been thinking about this layout for months now.. trying to show my 17 year old son, how proud I am of his skilled photography work, so there was NO turning back! I Think he knows that he has impressed me dearly! I hope you can tell too. I wanted it to show with my partially home made Award Winning Ribbon!
I know the sketch challenge didn't have room included for journalling but I felt I had to put journaling on mine. This is a layout I want to be remembered for a long time. SO, my journaling says:
After handing over my complicated camera to Kyle this spring, my 17 year old son, these are only a couple of many fantastic photos he's accomplished. Would you say he's got talent? Your dad and I were floored with the bumble bee in mid flight!! Wow Kyle, what ever you set your mind to you can achieve. We are proud of you and we really do bee-lieve in you! Keep up your award winning photography, cause I think you've got talent! Love Mom
Thanks for looking, I hope you can appreciate his level of photography for being only 17 and handed a complicated Canon PowerShot SX10IS with the instruction manual, in May this year, 2009. (cause it was to complicated for me!!! LOL)
