Oh bummer - and great job w/ the mini :) It's funny - that meaning was my first thought about this mini -- I always remember the tinker in Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.
May I give you advice? don't wait for a tinker, you will be waiting a loooooooong time. I had a guess who broke two of my pots last year (don't even ask) I could not afford to replace them and she could not either so I went to the thrift store and for $5 bought the best two pans I have ever owned. I almost sent her a thank you for breaking the old ones!
TINKER n. 4. traveling pot mender: in former times, somebody who traveled from place to place mending metal household items such as pots and pans.
12-16-09...The handle broke off of my saucepan, I've tried to fix it but as you can see I've not been successful. When things like this happened a 100+ years ago the lady of the house waited for the TINKER to come by to mend it for her. [PC168721]
