Photos of my DGS, Jacob made when we were decorating the tree this year. He is so excited about Christmas this year. I used Graphic 45 papers for this layout with a kraft cardstock base. The trees are hand cut (just a big triangle). I colored some flat white pearl strings with cranberry alcohol inks to use as decorations on the trees. The star toppers are chipboard stars covered with gold foil paper. Title work is cut with the Silhouette. The punched edge is a MS punch. I added a red velvet ribbon, a little doodled stitching and a few random sparkly snowflakes. Journaling is adhered to the back of the layout and reads:

Jacob, you are really enjoying Christmas this year. You’ve just turned 5 years old. You can hardly wait for Christmas day to see what Santa Claus brings for you. I’ve been proud of you for not asking for everything you see. You’ve only asked for just a few things from Santa, and you’ve made a point of giving some of your toys to children who won’t have much for Christmas. I’ve really enjoyed your enthusiasm and excitement. You were so involved in decorating my tree and you really seem to “get” Christmas this year. Your sparkling eyes make me smile!
