I thought I had lost these pics! I did a Halloween party for a friend's little girl and her classmates. This candy buffet was served in lieu of treat bags. I made the treat shoppe sign using one of those (8 1/2" x 11") clear "L" shaped acrylic frames (from Walmart). I turned it over, inserted it in floral foam (which I covered in matching paper) and slipped a sheet of glittered candy-printed paper in the frame and added a scalloped circle sign (cut out with Nestabilities). But the really neat thing about my sign was that it was illuminated with tiny lights (I bought them at AC Moore in the wedding favors aisle) that I affixed under the "awning" with glue dots. You can't see them in the pics but it looked amazing! The whole thing is sitting on a cake plate I picked up at Marshall's and I added the lollipops and spiders which I bought at the $1 store. The pumpkins around the base of the sign were also from the $1 store; they were such a great find! Their stems, when pushed, would change their pumpkin faces and they were filled with Halloween-shaped candy. Absolutely adorable.
