altered lap desk detail

i found this at a yard sale about a year or so ago and have been wanting to alter it ever since, i brought it with me to fla. in hopes of doing just that! i keep some notes and sketches i draw sometimes or ones i see i like inside along with note pads and pens.. then when i am ready to scrap and get stuck i can pull some inspriation from this box from time to time..so glad i finally have it looking nice! well a really sweet friend sent me these pps and i thought how perfect!!! thank you ardelle!!!! i love all the goodies you sent!!! ardelle loves all things prima and so do i!! :)
i cut out some of the flowers from a sheet of the pp to add to the sides and top of the desk along where the groove for the pens go...then i added some bling to the flowers ....this desk is about 8x11 and i use sticky notes the big ones, to sketch and writs notes on that way i can stick them on the wall or whatever when i scrap.....needs a better suited ribbon tho...i didnt bring alot with me when i came here , so i guess i will change it to a brighter one later! tfl!!
